This was hands down one of my favorite events to perform and a perfect example of what’s possible when event professionals collaborate with intention. I was new to the area and had the opportunity to perform at a country club open house. That’s where I met Gustavo and Desiree from Bright Event Rentals. We connected quickly, and they shared a vision for an upcoming event they were designing. When they walked me through it, I understood the concept, but once I arrived on site, the execution completely exceeded expectations.
The room was stunning. The décor was layered, elevated, and intentional, and Lightware Labs created an immersive lighting design that transformed the entire space. At the center of the room was a circular performance area designed for live music to be a focal point. As guests entered and enjoyed brunch, I performed live on my electric violin, setting the tone and energy from the moment they walked in.
For every event, I carefully curate a playlist that spans genres and generations while maintaining a seamless flow. The goal is always the same: enhance the environment without overpowering it, and create moments guests feel, even if they can’t quite explain why. During this event, the response was immediate. Head nods. Phones out recording. Guests swaying, smiling, and fully present. I stepped off the center platform and moved through the room, engaging tables and creating personal moments that elevated the overall guest experience.
Events like this are a reminder that live music, when thoughtfully integrated, becomes part of the design, not just entertainment. This event was beautifully produced and executed, and it led to many other incredible collaborations. Still, there are certain events that stay with you long-term and this was one of them. For event planners looking to create immersive, polished, and unforgettable experiences, live electric violin offers flexibility, elegance, and a modern edge that adapts seamlessly to your vision.
Now, can we rewind and do this event all over again?
